Introduction

The College of Education seeks to maintain high standards of quality education for secondary school teachers, and to continue in the spirit of the foundation of Yeungnam University : to create a new history for our country.

Our school is devoted to the development of teacher preparation and certification programs. It provides and administers rigorous professional courses and well-established teacher education programs. Our programs strive to educate the prospective teacher to perform all the roles which may be expected of a teacher. To accomplish this objective, we focus upon a sound liberal/ general education, an extensive knowledge of the subjects to be taught, and the skills in managing a classroom and facilitating the learning process.

Thus, we strive to educate enterprising prospective teachers whose personality is well-balanced and well-disciplined, and whose sense of responsibility will enable them to provide secondary education to future generations.
